MAGNETIC COUPLED PUMPS

Magnetic coupled pumps prevent leakage and emission with their special seal design. Therefore, they are suitable for pumping corrosive and hazardous liquids. These pumps, with a simple structure, require very little maintenance by saving on repair and spare part costs. The external magnet placed on the drive shaft transmits the movement to the internal magnet attached to the impeller, which rotates the fluid along the pump and moves it, thus completing the transfer process.

Advantages of Magnetic Coupled Pumps

  • The special hermetic design of magnetic coupled pumps prevents leakage of chemical substances, corrosive liquids, explosive and flammable liquids, and prevents situations that could be very dangerous for those dealing with the pump and the environment.
  • Another advantage of sealing is that it eliminates the loss of expensive fluids and eliminates possible refill costs.
  • Magnetic coupled pumps are very reliable and require very little maintenance due to their simple design. Under normal operating conditions, these pumps can operate without the need for any repairs for more than ten years, so the maintenance frequency is very low. However, it is recommended to check the o-rings and bearings every two years to ensure that there is no wear.
  • Since there is no need for motor/pump adjustment, making the coupling connection is very simple.
  • NeFeBo standard provides high torque in magnetic coupling.
