Lobe pumps are valveless and positive displacement pumps. Another name for these products, which can be used smoothly in the transfer of low, medium and high viscosity fluids thanks to their positive displacement feature, is lobe pumps. Since these pumps are used in food applications, they must have hygienic features. The hygienic capabilities of MIT Lobe Pumps are registered with FDA approval. MIT Lobe Pumps, produced in the 0-65 m³/h capacity range, are designed specifically for the customer's process to meet the requirements of the application.
Lobe Pump Features
Lobe Pump Working PrincipleLobe pumps basically consist of three or two lobe rotors rotating inside the body without touching each other. As the rotor pair rotates, the volume in the inlet line increases. This increase creates a vacuum on the suction side of the pump, and the vacuum draws fluid into the pump body. As the rotor rotates, the fluid at the outlet decreases and the fluid is transferred to the outlet line.
MIT lobe pumps are designed to provide reliable performance, trouble-free operation and superior energy efficiency for demanding applications. These hygienic pumps cause little damage to the product and meet high standards at low pressures.
Lobe Pump Advantages
Maintenance and RepairThe compact structure of MIT lobe pumps is in the field. Allows maintenance. This advantage reduces both maintenance times and costs. Things to do during the maintenance process are as follows.
Hygiene, safety, and process efficiency are top priorities in the food industry. Our hygienically designed, easy-to-clean, and stainless-steel-compatible solutions are ideal for applications ranging from dairy and beverage processing to juice, beer production, and food handling lines.
These industries demand equipment capable of operating under high temperatures and pressures, and resistant to corrosive or aggressive gases and liquids. Our robust and chemically compatible system solutions ensure safe, continuous, and efficient operation in sensitive process environments.
Processes such as printing, dyeing, finishing, and drying require precise temperature control and energy management. Our specialized thermal solutions support textile operations by optimizing energy usage and improving overall process reliability and product quality.
