How Does a Pasteurizer Work?
Plate pasteurizers consist of a series of plates. There are high-temperature resistant gaskets between the plates. These gaskets prevent the liquids passing through the plates from mixing. The plates are 95-125 mm thick and made of stainless steel. The grooves on the plate create turbulent filling, increase the heat transfer surface, and extend the contact time of the liquid with heat.
