What is a Thermoplastic Valve?
Thermoplastic valves are valves with high chemical resistance and are used in directing almost any type of fluid flow. Due to their high durability, plastic valves are commonly preferred, especially in systems containing corrosive fluids. Additionally, they are long-lasting due to their high sealing properties.
One of the other features of plastic valves used in acid and chemical transfer lines, particularly in the chemical industry, food industry, natural gas lines, shipbuilding, paper mills, and heating-cooling lines, is that they have very low pressure losses.
Thermoplastic valves offer ease of use due to their easy opening and closing, lightweight, and compact size. The plastic types of these valves can be PVC-U, PVC-C, PP-H, or PVDF.
