What is a Check Valve?
Check valves are safety fittings that prevent the fluid from flowing back in fluid transfer systems. There are many types of check valves that can be selected according to system requirements and other criteria. The main factors to consider when selecting a check valve are pressure loss, closing feature, and costs.
Check valves are valves that allow fluid to flow in one direction only. These equipment provide this with ball, spring, or conical structures and are used for different reasons in different installations. In systems where the reverse flow of fluid, such as LPG-powered vehicles, would adversely affect the system operation, the check valve ensures system stabilization, while in hydraulic systems, it prevents the decrease of pressure created by the fluid's return.
